Who We Are
WorkConnect is an individualized and interactive career service for Persons with Disabilities, now available both in person and virtually. We offer flexible supports designed to meet you wherever you are in your career journey.
Our services include one-on-one career coaching, skill development, training, and direct connections to inclusive employers who are committed to creating accessible and diverse workplaces.
Serving Calgary and the surrounding areas, WorkConnect empowers you with the tools, resources, and opportunities you need to take confident, meaningful steps toward your employment goals.
How We Help
We provide one-to-one coaching, online learning, and access to Job Developers. We cover everything from the basics of getting your resume right, to interview skills, networking, and local labor market information.
Ultimately, it’s about finding what works for you. We will work hard to give you the best chance of finding work, or engaging in training, we make sure you have the right support and the latest information on who is hiring and what skills are in demand.
You’ll have access to one-on-one coaching with a dedicated Career Advisor, a wide range of online resources via Employable Me, and support from Job Developers who can help you connect with inclusive employers. We offer group workshops that focus on key employment topics such as résumé building, interview preparation, disability disclosure, and professional workplace communication.
Our goal is to help you find a path that works for you whether that means securing meaningful employment or pursuing further training. We’re here to make sure you have the right support, timely job market insights, and practical tools to move forward with confidence.
